Pacific Pain Treatment Centers (PPTC), established as a private multi-disciplinary pain clinic in 1987 by Elliot S. Krames, provides consultative and referral care to physicians and their patients with chronic pain. PPTC, an internationally recognized accredited teaching center, accredited by the American Board Of Pain Medicine, provides education to physicians who want to become expert in the field of pain medicine. Dr. Elliot Krames serves as the Medical Director of the teaching program and Dr. Carlo Esteves is Director of fellowship training.

Pacific Pain Treatment Centers is:

• a specialized group of interdisciplinary care specialists including pain-trained physicians, nurses, psychologists, biofeedback and physical therapists who are dedicated to providing diagnositic workup and interdisciplinary care to the patients of PPTC.

• an interdisciplinary center for pain care, with centers located in San Francisco, and Concord. Care is centralized through our administrative staff in San Francisco.

• a team that provides long-term medical care to patients with differing chronic pain problems and consultative services to primary care physicians and specialists for their patients who have complex pain problems.
