Our one-year Fellowship Program is certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine and is part of the graduate medical education program at California Pacific Medical Center of San Francisco. Our fellows come to PPTC to learn the art and science of Pain Medicine. They are all Board eligible or Board certified in ABMS specialties including, but not limited to Anesthesia, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neurology, Family Practice, Internal Medicine and Psychiatry.

During their training, fellows learn to diagnose and treat patients with complex pain issues and co-morbidities including severe depression and anxiety. They provide 24 hour, 7-days-per-week, consultative inpatient services to the physicians of California Pacific Medical Center and the John Muir Health Hospitals.
