TESTIMONIALS
“I have been a patient of Dr. Krames and his colleagues since 1994. At that time I was referred to him by another doctor to solve the mystery of severe nerve pain that hadn’t yet responded to treatment. I had been trying to live with it for a couple of years and it was affecting every part of my life. I was desperate to get some relief. Dr. Krames’ compassion and expertise opened a door to new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches that eventually gave me my life back. I am likely to have this condition for the rest of my life, but with the support of the team at PPTC I know that I am receiving state of the art medical care. There is no other doctor or pain clinic that is superior to this one, not only in this area, but in the country. You simply cannot ask for better care, or for a more comprehensive approach. It is possible to learn to live with severe chronic pain, and to live a full life. I know. I’ve done it with the help of Dr. Krames and the staff at PPTC.”

"I had three back surgeries and although the last one in 1996 was successful and I was fused from L3 to L5, the pain kept me from being part of the things I enjoyed doing like walking, traveling, playing cards, etc. I received a referral to Dr. Elliot Krames from an orthopedic nurse at UCSF where I had my last surgery. I went through the entire process of trying everything from pills to spinal blocks and nothing gave me any prolonged relief. After meeting with the psychologist, It was decided that I should have the Medtronic pain pump inserted, which truly saved my sanity. I walk two miles every morning and am on my recumbent bike one half hour each day. I travel often and am involved in all the activities I couldn't do before. I bless Dr. Krames every day for giving me back my life. I am 74 years old and most people guess that I am at least ten years younger because my face is not filled with pain. Thank you Dr. Krames and his dear wife Rosellen who was the first nurse to insert the medication. A very special thanks to Liz who I see every five or six weeks and who is so careful to cause me no pain and whom I look forward to spending time with as she has become a good friend."
